3. Add Drug & Alcohol Testing to Your Practice
Combining drug and alcohol testing with DOT physicals creates a synergistic relationship. Drivers are already coming to your office for their physical exam, why not provide them a one-stop shop?
4. Offer a Consortium Service for Randomized Drug & Alcohol Testing
Many truckers with a Commercial Driver’s License who operate a CMV in intrastate or interstate commerce are required to participate in a DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program. These drivers must register with a consortium and participate in the Consortium’s random testing pool.
Contract with a Consortium/Third-Party Administrator (C/TPAs) and invite drivers and motor carriers to use you for their randomized drug and alcohol testing program. A C/TPA is an entity that manages all, or part, of an employer’s DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
